A big wave takes me out, and I’m trying to get back to the line-up before the next set wave comes… a friend yells, “Paddle like you mean it!” If I don’t want to be stuck in the white wash and paddling for the next 30 minutes, I need to paddle hard and not stop until I’m safely past where the waves break.
