A New Leaf, 11x14” Watercolor on paper.

This painting was done plein-air at the Foster Botanical Garden. I went to my nook where I had previously sketched some gorgeous, humongous leaves and at first I was disappointed when I discovered that the plants were gone. In their place were smaller plants in adolescence, their prime not yet reached. Nature’s reminder to appreciate but let go of the past and embrace the present and future. A New Leaf is perfect for the beginning of a new phase or transition in life.

This artwork was painted using artist-grade watercolors on 100% cotton, 140 lb cold press paper. Contact me if you’d like this painting framed for an additional cost.
